Ranner is a seasoned Utility Locator experienced and cross-trained in multiple detection methods.  Having worked in a field supervisory position with Fortis’ largest contractor, he is also trained and experienced in many processes of Civil Construction and its support services.

He has worked extensively with compliance and permitting for prioritized utilities including Metro Vancouver Water/Sewer, Fortis High Pressure Gas, B.C. Hydro Transmission Electrical, Critical Fibre Optic Lines, & Petroleum-related Pipelines.  

Ranner is recognized as an R.U.L.T. (Registered Utility Locating Technician) through the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of B.C. and holds a Diploma of Technology (Hons) in Industrial Systems from B.C.I.T.

He has worked as a field mentor and trainer for both Telecommunications and Natural Gas locating in both B.C. and Manitoba.
